Perched on the heights, this fortified castle was a strategic place in the Middle Ages against attacks from Savoy.
Transformed around 1750 into a pleasure castle, the site has since been inhabited by the same family for 500 years. Discover the woodwork, plasterwork and inlaid parquet floors that have been preserved over time and which illustrate the art of living of the Dauphiné nobility.
Continue the visit outside in the sumptuous terraced gardens. You will discover geometric flowerbeds, a rose garden, an orchard and a panoramic view.
The masterpiece of the garden remains the Italian-style water staircase fed by the mountain's water sources, unique in France.
Game booklets will be offered to children all along the route.
