Conditions generales de vente Best Western Hotel Cœur de Maurienne

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all bookings made by guests, subject to the special conditions applied to certain rates and excluding bookings made for a group of people who have booked more than 10 rooms.

Unless otherwise stated, the prices shown on this site include VAT per room and per night, for a given number of people per room and for the chosen date.

Additional services (breakfast, mini bar, etc.) are optional, unless otherwise stated, and are payable on site at the hotel.

Tourist tax is not included in the room rate. It is charged per person per night and is payable on site at the hotel.

Unless otherwise specified in the special conditions for certain rates outlined below, the booking may be cancelled by the guest up to the check-in date, by fax, e-mail or online on the website.

The hotel will charge the booked guest for the first night of the stay:
  • If they do not take possession of their room on the day planned without cancelling before 4.00 pm the day before they check in.
  • If they cancel their booking on the day they are due to check in.
  • If they leave the hotel on the same day as they check in
The booking takes effect from 3.00 pm on the day the guest checks in and ends at 11.00 am on the day they check out.

The booking is confirmed once the type of credit card, the guest's credit card number, the card's expiry date (valid on the date of the booked guest’s stay) and the name written on the card have been recorded.

If there are no rooms available at the hotel when the booked guest checks in, or in the event of force majeure, the hotel reserves the right to provide the best possible accommodation outside the hotel.

In this case, the costs of the transfer will be paid by the hotel and guests will not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever.

The hotel may release itself from its obligations or suspend performance thereof if it finds itself unable to fulfil them due to unforeseeable circumstances, an event beyond its control, or in the case of force majeure, and, in particular, in the event of the total or partial destruction of the hotel, a strike, disaster, fire, internal or external technical accident and, in general, if any event that should prevent the proper performance of the service.

These terms and conditions of sale supplement the general terms and conditions of sale.

Best price with no conditions

The best price with no conditions can be changed and cancelled free of charge up to 4.00 pm on the day the guest is due to check in at the hotel, by fax, e-mail or online on the website. The hotel will charge the booked guest for the first night of the stay:
  • If they do not take possession of their room by 4.00 pm on their check-in day
  • If the booking is cancelled after 4.00 pm
  • If they leave the hotel on the same day as they check in

Best price with conditions

The best price with conditions can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 4.00 pm, three (3) days before the booked guest is due to check in (including bank holidays and weekends), by fax, e-mail or online on the website.

Once this period has elapsed, the booking cannot be cancelled or changed for any reason whatsoever.

The hotel will invoice the booked guest for the entire service, even if the room is not used.

The booking is confirmed once the type of credit card, the guest's credit card number, the card's expiry date (valid on the date of the booked guest’s stay) and the name written on the card have been recorded as security up to 3 days prior to the check-in date and as payment beyond this period.

Price non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-changeable

The price cannot be changed, exchanged or refunded once the booking has been confirmed.

Once this period has elapsed, the booking cannot be cancelled or changed for any reason whatsoever. The hotel will invoice the booked guest for the entire service, even if the room is not used.

The booking is confirmed once the type of credit card, the guest's credit card number, the card's expiry date (valid on the date of the booked guest’s stay) and the name written on the card have been recorded as payment.

Security policy

All bookings must be secured by a valid credit card for the length of your stay.

The credit card used to make the booking will be requested when you check in.

The name on the identity document requested on check-in must be identical to the name on the credit card.

Hotel obligations and damage

The Coeur de Maurienne Hotel will be entitled to claim from the Guest the full value of the replacement cost of objects, furniture or equipment that are broken, cracked, chipped or damaged, the cost of cleaning bedspreads, sofa covers and cushions, as well as compensation for damage to curtains, paintwork, plasterwork, wallpaper, ceilings, carpets, rugs, parquet flooring, windows, bedding, etc.

Repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance during the rental period will be charged to the occupant.

Smokers

The entire hotel is non-smoking.

Failure to comply with this rule will entail the acceptance of an additional charge of 200 Euros to cover cleaning costs (removal of smoke traces having penetrated surfaces, curtains, net curtains, etc.) or air purification to ensure that the next guest does not suffer from the residual effects of tobacco smoke.

Security deposit

A bank card number* is provided by the occupant.

Any costs incurred as a result of damage to the rented apartment or to the furniture or equipment entrusted to the occupant, as well as any cleaning costs and optional services, will be deducted from the card.

* The Coeur de Maurienne Hotel accepts Carte Bleue, VISA, Eurocard, MasterCard and American Express.
